The Yakima Q-Towers Stretch Kit is one component of a base rack system and works in combination with the Yakima Q -Tower complete base rack in order to increase crossbar spread on 2-door short roofline vehicles, creating even weight distribution for carrying longer loads and accepting any Yakima gear attachments..

Works only with Q-Towers.
Increases crossbar spread on short-roofline vehicles.
No need to purchase extra SKS Lock Cores when used with Q Towers that already have existing SKS Lock Cores.
